📘 DocumentationNOTE: SMA connectors and headers are not soldered on the board by default.
This is a 4G GSM module development board designed for evaluating SIMCom A7670 modules.
It can be used with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other MCU platforms.
The wide input supply range (9V–42V DC) allows flexibility with different power sources such as lead-acid batteries, DC adapters, and EV supply.
The onboard IO level translator converts the modem’s 1.8V UART TX/RX signals to MCU I/O voltage via the VTRANS pin.
A7670SA-LASC module is optimized for Australia and South America (including Brazil),
supporting LTE bands B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B28/B66 and GSM bands 850/900/1800/1900.
The A7670 series is a cost-effective 4G alternative to legacy 2G modules such as SIM900, SIM900A, SIM800 & SIM808, making it a suitable drop-in replacement.
