Antenna Selection Guide :
Device has onboard patch antenna soldered on the PCB. For using external active antenna a bias resistor needs to be connected to the antenna point. So when you select external antenna option the bias resistor will be added and the patch antenna will be disconnected.
On board passive Patch Antenna : Bias resistor removed and you can use onboard patch antenna for GNSS reception. Enclosure will not have a SMA cutout.
with External Active antenna support : You need to connect an external active antenna to the U.FL connector on PCB, if you ordered the enclosure, you need to make a hole to draw the antenna out.
(Antenna needs to be ordered separately)
